Bret Samuel Weinstein (; born February 21, 1969) is an American podcaster and author. He served as a professor of biology at Evergreen State College, but resigned in the aftermath of the 2017 Evergreen State College protests, which brought him to national attention. Along with his brother Eric Weinstein, he is among the people referred to collectively as the intellectual dark web. Weinstein has been criticized for making false statements about COVID-19 treatments and vaccines.
