Rewriting Stereotypes
By enneagram type
1- NOT EVERY TYPE ONE IS FIXATED ON HAVING A CLEAN HOUSE.
2- TYPE TWOS ARE POWERFUL STRONG PEOPLE WHO WILL FACE
CONFLICT IN FAVOR OF MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS. THEY ARE
NOT 'WEAK' OR 'PUSHOVERS.'
3 ALL TYPE THREES AREN'T WORKAHOLICS.
4 TYPE FOURS AREN'T SAD ALL THE TIME, THEY JUST WANT TO
EXPRESS THEIR EMOTIONS HONESTLY.
5- TYPE FIVES AREN'T ANTI-SOCIAL THEY JUST MANAGE THEIR
ENERGY LEVELS AND PREFER THEIR PRIVACY.
6 THINKING THROUGH WORST CASE SCENARIOS' DOESN'T ALWAYS
FEEL LIKE ANXIETY. SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE PREPARATION.
7- SEVENS AREN'T HAPPY ALL OF THE TIME. YOU JUST MAY NOT BE
SOMEONE THEY SHARE THEIR SADNESS WITH.
8 TYPE EIGHTS AREN'T CONSTANTLY IN SEARCH OF CONFLICT
THEY'RE JUST BEING HONEST WHEN YOU ASK THEM HOW THEY FEEL
ABOUT SOMETHING.
9 'LAZINESS' IN TYPE NINES ISN'T REFERRING TO PHYSICAL
LAZINESS BUT A LACK OF MOMENTUM IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO
SELF. A NUMBING TO WHAT THEY WANT AND WHO THEY ARE.
